If you can walk, then you can snowshoe. It's that simple.
We have 3 kinds of snowshoes. For those who have soft soled boots or moccasins, the best are the wooden snowshoes. For those who have rigid boots or want to walk or climb on ice, we have the newer aluminimum kind with spikes. For children, we have easy slip on plastic snowshoes. Snowshoeing is very easy; it can be learned in a few minutes and it also burns more calories than cross-country skiing!
